This was the debut show at Pinkwater Gallery, which began as a cri de coeur by the artist ANNE SANGER against climate change. Absorbing the grief and concern that had gone mainstream by 2019, the work imagined what the world might look like - in abstract terms - once climate change takes hold.

As the holidays approached, the gallery was packed with paintings, drawings, and other offerings of different shapes and sizes. It was beginning to change shape, from being an exhibition space to a boutique for art, while also allowing the artist to figure out how to incorporate commercial concerns into the production of new work.
